The Grinnell Tigers Swim and Dive team continues to make waves, breaking six school records and sending several standout athletes to the state championships. Here’s a look at the incredible accomplishments from our swimmers and divers:

  • Diving: Camryn Russell (5th place) and Norah Nicol (8th place) have both qualified for state.

  • 200 Medley Relay: The team of Kyliee Zylstra, Isabel Kenkel, Josie Smith, and Katelyn Sieck, with alternates Lucy Lindberg, Piper Rundall, and Ruby Zimsen-Campe, secured a 20th-place state ranking.

  • 200 Freestyle: Kyliee Zylstra placed 30th.

  • 100 Butterfly: Josie Smith qualified at 16th.

  • 100 Freestyle: Isabel Kenkel placed 27th.

  • 500 Freestyle: Kyliee Zylstra is seeded 22nd.

  • 200 Freestyle Relay: Isabel Kenkel, Lucy Lindberg, Katelyn Sieck, and Josie Smith will represent in the 20th position, with alternates Piper Rundall and Ruby Zimsen-Campe.

  • 400 Freestyle Relay: The team of Isabel Kenkel, Katelyn Sieck, Kyliee Zylstra, and Josie Smith are seeded 20th, with alternates Lucy Lindberg, Piper Rundall, and Ruby Zimsen-Campe.
